Shortly after Christmas, my husband was storing all the holiday decor in the attic. Even though we've lived in our current house for over five years, I have never stepped foot in the attic. So I decided to take a peek. It was pretty unimpressive, except for a large dusty BRASSY chandelier hidden in the shadows. So, of course, I couldn't resist. I lugged it down the attic ladder to take a closer look. One thought came to my mind, "What were people thinking in the 80s???" So here it is, in all it's shiny BRASSY glory...
It even looks better in this pic than it did in person!
I didn't need this chandelier...didn't have a place for it either. But it just sat there begging me for a makeover. So I obliged. Nothing difficult or super creative - just a coat of white spray paint and antiquing glaze.

I think BRASSY crass is very please with her makeover. She definitely looks much more elegant...
